About Us

ASE Angola

ASE Angola is a pan-African university initiative dedicated to equipping the next generation of African leaders with world-class education tailored to Africa’s unique challenges.

Founded by Princeton University’s Professor Leonard Wantchekon, ASE brings a proven model of excellence in research, data-driven innovation, and interdisciplinary training to Southern Africa.

With campuses across Africa, ASE is expanding into Angola to fill critical gaps in higher education—focusing on STEM, business, and public policy programs that align with the country’s economic and development goals.

ASE Angola will also host a regional Research Hub and Data Centre, building partnerships that drive impact across Angola and Lusophone Africa.

Africa must become a full participant in global knowledge production, not just a passive recipient of solutions from elsewhere.
